Cambridge Cares Covid-19 Task Force
Authorized by the Cambridge Board of Health, the task force has contacts with the 55+ Club, Cambridge Elementary School, Meals on Wheels, the Cambridge Community Food Shelf, the Cambridge Area Rotary, and Smugglers Notch Resort. Some are tending to their missions while others are offering themselves as sources of volunteers. Those involved in food delivery are altering the ways they deliver services while maintaining high levels of results. They are assessing how their systems are working and how to best use volunteers.

An online survey requests volunteers and solicits those who need support. The survey is online at www.cambridgecaresvt.org/survey. If you cannot complete the survey online, call (802) 242-0426. One of our first independent efforts is to contact every Cambridge resident over age 65 to find out how they are coping and whether or not they want or warrant continued contact. We are matching volunteers with those expressing need.

If you want to be added to the volunteer list now you may send an email to covid19@cambridgecaresvt.org
or call (802) 242-0426. Please leave your name and a call-back number and you will be contacted soon thereafter. IMPORTANT: This is not an emergency number. Emergencies continue to call 911. All other questions can be addressed to the task force by both email and phone.
Be smart; stay safe.
