Early Voting by Mail

Our regular polling location at the Cambridge Elementary School will be open, as usual, for Town Meeting Day Australian Ballot Voting on March 2nd, 2021 . Polling hours are 7AM-7PM.
Due to the Covid-19 emergency, however, we are encouraging everyone to use early voting by mail in 2021. The early voting system in Vermont is a proven and secure method to cast your ballot. We do not plan to send a ballot to every active voter, but there are four different ways to request an absentee ballot for any upcoming election:

  • Call the Cambridge Town Office at (802)644-2251 during regular hours. Be prepared to verify your contact information. SPEAK DIRECTLY TO A CLERK. DO NOT LEAVE A VOICE MESSAGE.

  • Send an eMail request to clerk@cambridgevt.org. Include your telephone number and current address for verification.

  • Send a request by mail to: Town of Cambridge PO Box 127 Jeffersonville VT 05464. Include your telephone number and current address for verification.

  • Login to the My Voter Page at https://mvp.vermont.gov/ You will need your drivers license number or the last 4 digits of your Social Security number for verification. Your registered town is CAMBRIDGE, even if you live or are addressed in Jeffersonville. After login, click on Go to My Voter Page, then Click Here for Online Absentee Ballot Request.

If you need assistance with this process or have any questions,
call the Cambridge Town Clerk's Office at (802)644-2251 or eMail clerk@cambridgevt.org
